Today, 9th June 2025, the second phase of the ongoing dredging project officially commenced at the Atonsu market area, near the Salisberg Hotel. Excavation and dredging works are actively underway as part of efforts to address the recurring issue of flooding in the area.
The Assemblyman for the Ahinsan Electoral Area was present at the site along with officials of NADMO. Asokwa. He commended Regional NADMO Director and the Hon. Regional Minister for their continued dedication and swift intervention in tackling perennial flooding. According to him, this initiative is a significant step towards improving the safety and well-being of residents within his electoral area and surrounding communities.
