Today, 29th August 2025, the Department of Social Welfare and Community Development, together with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), Hon. Amoh Kamel, met with the LEAP beneficiaries at the paypoint at Atonsu Station.
The purpose of the meeting was to facilitate the 97th cycle payment to beneficiaries and to formally introduce them to the MCE.
In his address, the MCE assured the beneficiaries of Government’s continuous support. The beneficiaries expressed their excitement after receiving their cash grants and prayed for the timely and regular disbursement of future payments.
Also present at the meeting were Hon. Oscar Richies (Assembly Member, Asokwa Newtown) and Hon. Gariba Zakari (Assembly Member, Kaase).
