On Tuesday, 21st July, 2026, the Asokwa Municipal Assembly, led by the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Amoh Kamel, conducted a site inspection of the New Atonsu Agogo Lorry Park project together with the project consultant and contractor to assess the progress of work and ensure compliance with project specifications.
As part of the exercise, the Assembly engaged traders, transport operators, and other stakeholders on the need to remove structures and other obstructions affecting the implementation of the project. The exercise will involve the demolition of affected structures and the relocation of occupants in accordance with due process to create the required space for the smooth execution and timely completion of the project.
The Assembly appreciates the understanding, cooperation, and support of all stakeholders as it works towards delivering a modern lorry park that will improve transportation, enhance public safety, promote orderly commercial activities, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the Asokwa Municipality.
