On January 3, 2025, the Ghana Aids Commission-RCC, Asokwa Municipal Assembly, and Health Directorate collaborated to educate the Kaase Bost community on HIV/AIDS. Program Objectives – Raise awareness about HIV/AIDS – Promote preventive measures among community members, especially young people Program Details – Causes of HIV – Prevention methods – Medication and treatment options Overview of HIV/AIDS by Mrs. Juana Twumwaa and Aunty Olivia – HIV: a viral infection attacking the immune system – AIDS: the most advanced stage of HIV infection – Causes and transmission: unprotected sex, sharing needles, mother-to-child transmission, blood transfusions, and occupational exposure – Symptoms: vary depending on the stage – Treatment and prevention: antiretroviral therapy.
