Beneficiaries received a combination of financial assistance and working equipment to help them establish or expand their small-scale businesses.

The support package was funded through the municipality’s share of the District Assembly Common Fund (DACF) and was presented at a brief ceremony held at the Municipal Assembly

premises.

Speaking at the event, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Asokwa, Amoh Kamel, said “the intervention is expected to significantly improve the livelihoods of the beneficiaries”.
