As part of the National Sanitation Day initiative directed by the President of the Republic of Ghana, H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the staff of the Asokwa Municipal Assembly embarked on a clean-up exercise within the Assembly premises to promote environmental cleanliness and reaffirm their commitment to maintaining a healthy working environment.
The Assembly was honoured to receive the Ashanti Regional Minister, Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, who visited the Municipal Assembly as part of his monitoring tour of the sanitation exercise across the Region. The Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Amoh Kamel, together with staff of the Assembly, welcomed the Regional Minister and reaffirmed the Municipality’s commitment to supporting the Government’s sanitation agenda.
The Asokwa Municipal Assembly remains dedicated to promoting environmental cleanliness and encourages all residents to make sanitation a daily responsibility.
